Wendell berry is my favorite poet, and in early 2020 (basically at the start of the pandemic) I did a series of illustrations based on his poem ‘Manifesto: The Mad Farmer Liberation Front’. This poem is so meaningful to me that several years ago I printed it on huge blueprint paper and hung it above my desk. My Instagram feed, where I originally posted these, included my own commentary – here I’ll just present the illustrations and sections of the poem.
